San Sevaine Villas
NHDC began construction on San Sevaine Villas, a 225-unit affordable multi-family rental development on Foothill Blvd. in Rancho Cucamonga on July 1, 2009. This $60 million project is one of the few tax-exempt bond, 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects to secure lending and investment commitments in California in 2009 during this difficult current economic and financial climate. The project site is 12.87 acres located at 13247 Foothill Boulevard, in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, California. It consists of 1-, 2- and 3- bedroom units contained within 15 buildings. Bedroom count distribution consists of 24 one-bedroom units, 133 two-bedroom units and 68 three-bedroom units. Seven of the buildings are three stories tall. The balance of the buildings is two stories tall. A total of 469 unattached parking spaces will be provided at grade for the Project, including 225 carport spaces and 56 on-site visitor parking spaces. The Project will also provide several play areas, a tot lot, a 6,670 square foot community recreational building, a 2-bedroom manager’s unit, swimming pool, picnic and barbecue areas and other resident amenities.
